The day that is

This day, January 18th, was set aside in rememberance of a man that challenged those not willing to change. A day for a man who fought with peace for justice and equality. A man who brought together a community and accepted any who cared to join the battle. He had a dream, a great dream, a dream that is not fully realized even today. His fellow men questioned him and he responded with intelligence and grace. So, may we all on this day and every other day be inspired by Martin Luther King Jr.

For life and health

It seems I am in need of a change in my life. At 5 feet even and weighing 210lbs I am morbidly obese. It's time to rekindle a long lost friendship with fruits and vegetable and say fairwell to meats. I am in need of at least one cook book that does not rely on tofu in it's recipes. If anyone is reading this and knows of such a book I would appreciate a shout out.

until next time

Merry Christmas

With the holiday season here it is important to remember what it is all about. No, not partying or material objects. Rather the things that matter, or the ones who matter. The two greatest gifts you can give to anybody is your time and your love. I ask you all to reach out to one person you haven't had contact with for a while, invite them to share a moment of your life, and love them graceously. You will not only improve your own day, but likely theirs as well. So reach out.
